Any person using the website is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of his/her account and password and for restricting access to his/her computer and he/she agrees to accept responsibility for all activities that occur using his/her account and/or password.
Talisman reserve the right to refuse service, terminate account, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at their sole discretion.
By ordering trophy/ memento / plaque from www.talismanindia.com, you agree to be bound by and accept the agreement. Talisman reserve the right to accept, refuse or reject any order.
Any Order is not binding upon Talisman until we accept it. Talisman conveys its acceptance of the order by an acknowledgment email. Talisman reserves the right to cancel or make part shipment of the order as per its convenience and necessity.
PRICES, INVOICE & PAYMENT
Prices are subject to change without any prior intimation and are displayed on the website. Shipping costs are additional and are mentioned in the order separately.
All the necessary documentation like Invoice, Packing List etc. will accompany the ordered merchandise.
In the case of payment by Credit Card the payment will be authorized at the time the order is placed but the actual transfer happens only when we capture the payment before the order is actually dispatched by us.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
All Shipping is done at the risk of the customer. The Risk of Loss OR Damage gets transferred to the customer as soon as we hand over the package to the carrier/courier/shipping agent. Talisman reserves the right to choose an appropriate mode of shipping the merchandise to the delivery address provided in the order. Appropriate packing is done considering the fragile nature of the product and to ensure safety in transit.
The customer is required to check goods for damages immediately upon receipt of the package. Visible damage if any on the outside of the package has to be brought to the notice of the delivery person and should be documented in writing in his presence. If any hidden damages are discovered later, it should be informed to Talisman immediately followed by a written complaint to the courier/ shipping co.
TAXES & CUSTOMS DUTY
Taxes/Customs Duty if any at the destination have to be paid by the customer. Normally the courier/ shipping co will inform the customer in case the shipment is held at the Customs for any reason and in case the customer is required to be present personally to clear the shipment.
DAMAGE IN TRANSIT
We take all necessary care in packing the instrument to ensure that it reaches safe to the customer. We could at the request of the client could insure the shipment, charges for which shall be born by the customer. Once Insured, in case of an unfortunate event of the product getting damaged in transit and is rendered “unusable”(due to major damage) the customer can claim insurance. For this first he/she has to inform us immediately. We will guide the customer regarding the procedure to claim damages from the insurance company. In case of minor damages which can be repaired without much trouble, we will supply the necessary replacement parts and shall email detailed step by step instructions with illustrated pictures to repair the damage. We respect their efforts and hence request our customers to co-operate.
Each and every product is thoroughly checked for any defect before we pack it for despatch. We do not wish to supply any faulty product intentionally to our customers. In case of an unfortunate event of you receiving any faulty product we will either send you a replacement or if the fault is minor and repairable we will send you step by step instructions to correct the product. But before we send a replacement we have to establish the fact that the product is faulty and hence not usable. In that case the Trophy/ Memento/ Medal needs to be sent back to us by the customer at his expense. On receipt of the faulty product on conforming the defect at our end, we shall replace it at no extra cost to the customer.
In case of an unlikely event of Damage in Transit or Receipt of Faulty product Talisman doesn’t refund payment.
Only in case of an unlikely event of any particular product is not in stock or is not likely to make available immediately we shall inform the customer of the approximate period in which the product can be made available.
